Superior Grandparents Play and Dance the Afternoon Away

The Friday before Spring Break was a very busy day here at Superior Elementary School.  In addition to the PBIS Incentive Trip to see The Wiz, we welcomed over forty families for Games with Grandparents.  Our families enjoyed a custom made game of Bingo that included pop culture trivia, music and art questions.  They competed for prizes and played other board games to challenge the children’s critical thinking skills.  The afternoon closed with a delicious lunch of fried chicken, potato salad and cookies along with line dancing.  The Superior Family showed their skills on the dance floor and taught the children a thing or two about the Wobble, Trans-Euro Express and Monorail.  We enjoyed seeing multiple generations of families enjoying themselves in our building.  A great time was had by all!
