Stop the Hate Youth Sing Out

Ms. Hampton-Brown and her participation in the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage Stop the Hate Youth Sing Out program.  Ten (10) of our Shaw students were invited to perform their first place song “Let’s Talk…” at the Maltz Museum Performing Arts Center on the CWRU campus.  As this group’s performance earned first place honors in the 2017 competition, Shaw High School received a $5,000 scholarship for Anti-Bias Education on behalf of the Maltz Museum.

The students who were part of the performance group were Rahsaan Gainer, Antonio Thomas, Isis Smith, Charde Ricks, Arvon Ratliff, Leigha Dushi, Christopher Hardin, Ronnie, Burnett, Carmen Phillips, and Kelly Leflore.

Congratulations to Ms. Hampton-Brown and these students for their efforts and for representing Shaw High School!
