East Cleveland Summer Enrichment Academy

On Tuesday, July 3, 2018, Mrs. Delk’s students learned about centripetal force by spinning cups with four corks inside. They were surprised to find out that the corks stayed inside the cup .

With the OST administration right around the corner the 3rd grade classes of the East Cleveland Summer Enrichment Academy are in full-swing with their preparation efforts. Mrs. Stokes engaged the students in:

Read paired passages and answering paired questions.

The discussed the “super challenge” which was  answering/ doing,  specifically, what the question is asking them to do.

Practiced underlining keywords and evidence and numbering the evidence.

Additionally, the student had an extended writing prompt. Once students completed task, Stokes gave feedback to the students.
