Shaw High School Teacher Named Public Voices Fellow with National Black Child Development Institute
The East Cleveland City School District is proud to announce that Dr. Nicole Culliver, early childhood education teacher at Shaw High School, has been named a Public Voices Fellow with the National Black Child Development Institute.
The Public Voices Fellowship is designed to bring new and diverse voices into racial justice in early childhood conversations and increase thought leadership among women and people of color so that our experiences and voices are included in these important conversations and find just and equitable solutions to these challenges.
The National Black Child Development Institute (NBCDI) is a national nonprofit organization with a mission “to improve and advance the quality of life for Black children and families through education and advocacy.”
