Students in Ms. Cooper's and Ms. Cotton's classroom completed a "Plants and Me" project this school year.  The students learned about plant life and how plants affect our everyday lives. Ms. Cooper read the book “What Do Roots Do?” by Kathleen V. Kudlinski and then led a group discussion with the students about plants are all around us.  As a follow up activity, the students went back to Ms. Cooper’s table and drew pictures about the different plants.  The follow-up lesson was a virtual fieldtrip to the Nature Center and The Cleveland Botanical Garden.
